Our Story
Happy Interior Painting Co. LLC was created in early 2020 when Simon was laid off from a career in tech sales due to a corporate buyout amid COVID uncertainty. This new chapter not only symbolized a farewell to the dull corporate workplace, but a mission to pursue genuine happiness- happiness for Simon, happiness for our clients, and happiness for our employees.
With a strong background in painting, creative design, marketing and sales, Simon launched a local painting company brand without hesitation. Painting has always been a passion, and this was his key to freedom. David was added to the team shortly thereafter and brought in decades of experience with advanced product knowledge and techniques. Together the two worked in tandem to fine-tune work processes and test various products to eventually come up with the Happy formula that is used on every home today. Together they have built a very positive work culture and a rock solid reputation for Happy Interior Painting Co. LLC.
Recently Happy Interior Painting has welcomed four new specialists to the team, including Erica for fine art murals, Isaac for tilework, Desean for fine finish cabinetwork, and Theresa as an expert color consultant. Together, we strive to deliver the happiest interiors in Southern Maine.
